Pearl is definitely an eater! She will eat anything you put in front of her. Sleep continues to elude us, though. Last night we tried having classical music on in her room. It didn't seem to bother her so maybe that is the "white noise" she needs. We are going to keep trying different things until we find the magic potion!

We got a sound machine has a baby shower gift and we LOVE it! Molly sleeps through a lot that I think would keep her up if it wasn't for her sound machine.

Pearl's hair cracks me up! It's so long! What a pretty little girl! :-)

One thing that works for us is a cool-mist humdifier (just run it without water, it doesn't harm it) that we turn on each night and keep on all night and for naps right outside the kids' bedrooms. Our kids are light sleepers and it really helps.

White noise (I used an ocean waves CD) and a humidifier were essential when we first got home with Josie. The air is so much drier here than Hanoi (esp in the winter) and the babies are all used to sleeping with noise.

It took a couple of months for Josie to really start sleeping well. The transition was rough-but it does eventually pass. Hang in there!

It sounds like Claire and Pearl need to get together and chat! Pearl could teach Claire about eating and Claire could teach Pearl about sleeping. Pearl looks so happy despite the lack of sleep. Claire is sleeping to soft music. It seems to be working!
